Our acne treatment uses salicylic acid which reduce scars and prevent mild acne from becoming more severe. What is Salicylic Acid? Salicylic Acid is a type of Beta Hydroxy Acid (BHA) which has the ability to get deeper into the pore, removing dead skin and controlling sebum excretion. It has antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties. Chemical Peel Benefits: - Improved texture of the skin - Increased hydration, reduced fine lines, wrinkles and surface pigmentation - Potentially stimulating elastin and collagen production - Treatments can be scheduled once a month or as needed Post-Chemical Peel Facial: - Avoid sun exposure - No exercise, sauna, hot tubs for 48 hours - It takes 6 weeks to fully notice the difference in the skin, but improvements are visible after only one session Chemical Peel Contraindications: - Recent cosmetic surgeries, laser resurfacing, injectables, fillers or Botox - Use of Retin-A - Pregnancy, Herpes simplex, hyperpigmentation tendencies - Sunburn or irritated skin.
