There are different chemical peel, each one could provide you with a benefit. They are classified as superficial, medium depth and deep strength, derived to cause exfoliation, destruction and/or inflammation of skin for an improvement.


Glycolic Acid:

Glycolic Acid is a type of alpha-hydroxy acids (AHA’s), derived from Sugar Cane. Owe to its reputation as the safest and most effective acid. It is absorbed very quick, its molecules are the smallest among the AHAs. Glycolic Peel removes the outer layer of dead skin cells, works well on the skin’s surface to loosen old, dead skin. It increases circulation making your skin look younger and dewier.


Salicylic Acid:

Salicylic acid is a type of beta-hydroxy acid (BHA’s), derived from Willow Bark. It oil-soluble so works deeper, it can penetrate into the pores to unclog them. What happens is once applied Salicylic acid breaks down the connections between skin cells, acts as an anti-inflammatory and treats red inflamed pimples and pustules, due to antibacterial activity.

Not recommended for people suffering from sensitive skin or severe dryness. However, It not a great idea for pregnant or those taking blood thinners medication.


TCA Peel:

TCA acid trichloroacetic acid, known as a medium-depth peel. Basically, a TCA peel has the benefits of both AHA and BHA peels along with deeper penetration and longer-lasting effects. It causes precipitation of the superficial layer, making the skin renew from the germinative segments and dermal collagen is continue remodelling afterward. TCA has been proven to remove and treat freckles, years of sun damage, bad pigmentation, scars, loose skin and wrinkles and fine lines.


Vitamin C:

Vitamin C is a strong antioxidant, found in serums, night cream and brightening effects. Vitamin C peel sloughs off the dead skills cells, removing your surface skin, then your body can replace them with new cells, giving a vibrant glow. It helps anyone suffering from acne, due to anti-bacterial action. It deeply cleanses pores, preventing pores keeping excessive sebum which turns into whiteheads and blackheads. The acid found in Vitamin C also works as a bleaching agent that can help restore imbalanced skin tone and help fade blemishes.


Procedure:

The Chemical Peel procedure is simple, It involves the application of a chemical exfoliant liquid acid for around 3 minutes less and more.

Sometimes it has to be rinsed off fasters than some other peels.

Most results can be seen after one session, but it’s advisable as with a beauty routine to maintain results with multiple treatments.
